February was the best time of the year to visit the rainforests that make up the eastern side of Olympic National Park, especially if you like a little rain in your rainforest : ) As you may be able to tell from my photos, I am obsessed with the moss that hangs over everything!
This park, tucked in the northwest corner Washington state, is unique in the fact that you can drive around the park going from mountains to rainforests to the rocky coastline all within a couple of hours.
